[557] The Partnership was written by a husband-wife team, working out of the History Office of the Johnson Space Center, Houston, Texas. Edward Clinton Ezell, born in Indianapolis, Indiana (1939), received his A.B. from Butler University, Indianapolis (1961); M.A. from the University of Delaware (1963), where he was a Hagley Fellow; and Ph.D. in the history of science and technology from Case Institue of Technology, Cleveland (1969). He taught at North Carolina State University, Raleigh, and Sangamon State University, Springfield, Illinois, before contracting with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration to write a history of the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project. Linda Neuman Ezell, from Fulton County, Illinois, was born in 1951. She graduated from Sangamon State University in 1974 and is currently doing graduate work at the University of Houston at Clear Lake City. Dr. Ezell has also published in the field of military technology: recent examples are "Science and Technology in the 19th Century," a chapter in A Guide to the Sources of United States Military History (Harden, Conn.: Archon Books, 1975), and Small Arms of the World, 11th ed. (Harrisburg, Pa.: Stackpole Books, 1977).
