Oblique view of Copernicus crater
Oblique view of the large crater Copernicus on the lunar nearside, as photographed from the Apollo 17 spacecraft in lunar orbit. This view is looking generally southwest toward the crater on the horizon. The coordinates of the center of Copernicus are approximetely 20 degrees west longitude and 9.5 degrees north latitude.
